Gaming Night 8/13

It is time for another Rejected Gamer gaming night. It will take place this Friday at 10pm Eastern time on Xbox Live. Send me a message on there, to my gamertag MrB4 if you are interested in joining. You can also leave a comment here to let me know if you want to be a part of it or not.

I will be hosting one room for whatever game you guys vote for, and thats about it. If there is a need for more than one room, we will split up playtime accordingly, or if another site member is available, I will ask them to host a party lobby for the other game. Now all I need you to do is choose which game we should play by casting your vote below. Voting will close at 5 pm est on the day of gaming night. Hope to see you all on Friday.

P.S.: Since the end of the summer is approaching, I figured it was time to show all of our loyal supporters some love by doing an end of the summer giveaway. Keep an eye out on our Twitter and Facebook accounts all this week to find out what you will be able to win.

If anybody actually bothered to read my review on Heavy Fire: Special Operations for Wiiware, they would have found out that upon completion of the campaign, you are given a secret code. At first I thought that this was just a way to create an online leaderboard without using the Wii’s Wi-Fi connection, turns out it was meant for something else entirely.

Our friends over at Teyon games are starting up a high score contest, in which the top 3 high score earners will receive a 2000 Wii points card for all of their hard work. There were also be one winner chosen at random for the same prize as well. All you have to do is visit the games official website, submit the code, along with your name and email address, and you will have a chance to win.

Entries will be accepted until the end of August, and the winners will be announced on the companies Facebook and Twitter accounts on September 1st. If there is a tie, the person who submitted the code first will be the winner. After the announcement, an email containing the code will be sent out to each person who won. Each person can win one card, so be sure to practice those shooting skills, because only one of those scores will make any difference.

Crackdown 2 Demo Codes Contest

We here at Evolved Gaming where lucky enough to receive a couple codes to obtain early access to the Crackdown 2 demo! The demo is set to go live for all Gold Members on next week but you can get that early access simply by continuing reading, answering an easy question and posting that answer along with you gamertag below.

All entries need to be submitted in this post and be posted by 12AM Pacific. I will actually be getting off a plane, returning from E3, at that time and will randomly select three correct entries. The way I do this is to put all entries in received order, getting three random numbers from random.org, and counting down to the corresponding #s.
The Crackdown 2 demo adds something new to demos on the 360. The ability to work towards achievements that will unlock once you have the full retail title. YES any orb hunting you do in the 30 minute demo will translate over to the full retail title. Some reports say you can have up to 100 gamerscore ready to unlock once you play the full version!

Without further ado the question is:

See how easy that was. Its ok if you didn’t play Crackdown you can say that and state how much you are looking forward to Crackdown 2.
If you got all the Orbs in Crackdown I want to see proof! A screenshot of the obtain corresponding achievements would do the trick!

As the NFL prepares for the Wildcard Playoff weekend, the league members that were lucky to make it to the playoffs played thier games. The season presented difficult tasks for some of the players, while one gamer dominated thier foes, ending the season with a 16-0 record. Congrats Jyoung117 on a superb reagular season showing!
