BioShock 2 Q&A Call w/ 2K Marin & Digital Extremes Developers

We here at Evolved Gaming had the pleasure of participating in a conference call with some of the developers working on BioShock 2; they were from 2K Marin and Digital Extremes.

On the call where:
- Jordan Thomas – Creative Director, 2K Marin
- Zak McClendon – Lead Designer, 2K Marin
- Hoagy De La Plante – Lead Environment Artist, 2K Marin
- Mat Tremblay – MP Art Director, Digital Extremes
- Jesse Attard – MP Lead Programmer, Digital Extremes
2K Marin is the lead developer for the single player portion of BioShock 2; which is set 10 years after the first BioShock. Digital Extremes is the lead developer for the multi-player portion of BioShock 2; which is set 1 year prior to the first Bioshock. Why did they decide to have different time periods for SP and MP?
