Revolution Software has announced a new division dedicated to creating and publishing narrative-based handheld entertainment specifically for formats which support online and over-the-air digital distribution.
Titled ‘Revolution Pocket’, this division aims to develop and release both new and classic titles from Revolution Software, designed to take advantage of the unique gaming capabilities of modern handhelds such as iPhone, iPod Touch, Android, PSP Go, DSi Shop and others.
Beneath A Steel Sky – Remastered is the first title being developed by the division. Launching initially for iPhone and iPod Touch and then rolling out across other handheld formats, this renewed and revamped take on the classic home computer adventure game introduces new features which will establish the game as the definitive adventure for a whole new ‘touch’ generation.
The game builds on the original, featuring stunning new animated movies from Dave Gibbons, co-creator of Watchmen. As well as a new context-sensitive help system, tailored to both the novice and the seasoned adventure player, the game now boasts higher quality audio than ever before.
