From a press release sent from Bethesda themselves, they announced that the “exclusive” DLC for Fallout 3 on the 360 and PC, which includes Operation: Anchorage, the Pitt, and Broken Steel, will be available for the PS3. According to the press release, a patch will be able for players to download so they can play the DLC, and Operation: Anchorage will be released in June, and the Pitt and Broken Steel will be released about four to six weeks after that. No word on price, but it’s safe to say that it will be around $10 each.

Also, they announced two more DLC packs that will be coming out for all three platforms. Those are:

  • Point Outlook: Explore a massive new swampland area filled with new quests and content.
  • Mothership Zeta: The aliens have returned, and they’re pissed. Experience an alien abduction first hand and find out if you’re tough enough to survive.

Point Outlook will be available in late June, and Mothership Zeta will be available in late July. They will cost 800 MS points/$10 each.

Another announcement is that Fallout 3 is coming out with a couple of new retail disc releases. Those include:

  • Fallout 3: Game Add-on Pack #1 – Includes Operation: Anchorage and the Pitt on a disc. Will be available for PC and 360 on May 26.
  • Fallout 3: Game Add-on Pack #2 – Includes Broken Steel and Point Outlook on a disc. Will be available for PC and 360 in August.
  • Fallout 3: Game of the Year Version – Includes original game and all five DLC episodes for $60 on 360 and PS3, and $50 for PC.
