Ad-based Gaming on King.com and Droids Overview
As we “evolve” The Evolved Gaming Network we are going to have to start focusing on more platforms then the big three we do not; those three being Nintendo, Sony and Xbox. As I have stated numerous times I believe PC gaming has come and gone. It is just to hard and expensive to keep a computer up to date with the most recent specification in order to play the most recent games and consoles provide a better, more cost effective option.

Well I may have spoken to soon as a resurgence of PC games are being released. While our console publishers feel it is ok to put advertising in our games but not give us any kind of a discount on said game it falls back to the PC publishers to enlighten these console publishers. With the appearance of ad supported flash games this might not be the best solution but it is a start. To that end I would like to introduce you all to King.com and one of their new titles “Droids“.

Droids is a puzzle, platformer wherein you use the ASDW or arrow keys to move, space bar to jump and the mouse to aim/fire. As a console based gamer I can say this is not the easiest thing to master. I am used to my hands being closer together on a controller, but I did pick up the basics and was able to enjoy Droids just the same as if it were on a console.
In Droids you play a droid, duh!, that is trying to move from room to room and escape to its freedom. Along the way are traps, puzzles and other droids that are all meant to try and stop you from escaping. I would compare this game to a combination of N+ and a marble maze game.
But don’t take my word for it! Play Droids for free now right here!
Also go over and check out King.com! They have an integrated friends list, chat/messaging services and they do have a premium service available that will remove the ads. I have to force myself to play games on the computer at the moment. I can see with the game selection, ease of use and understanding of “ad-based” gaming a service like King.com is making it much more easier and cost effective to play PC games again! If you do sign up let them know that INFECTED503 sent ya or leave your email in comments below and I will forward you a referral, that way I get more JEWELS!

That game was awesome. We should post more about flash games here, since I play a ton of them.
