Some people were very skeptical when Konami announced that they were making a video game based on the horror film series Saw. Most games based on films aren’t great, and the Saw franchise hasn’t been doing so well since the release of the last film. The game was rumored to be a puzzle game, but it has been shown to be much more than that. It has puzzle/minigame elementss, and also has a third person element, and a story that harkens to the Condemned series.
The Saw game is due out on October 23, 2009 [which is around the time the next film is being released], and will be available on the Xbox 360, PC, and PS3.
