The Sims 3 to feature video editing software

Machinima and the Sims go hand-in-hand. Ever since the inclusion of video in the Sims 2, many gamers all over the internet have been making their own Sims videos – be it small music videos or stories, or even huge episodic shows like Rooster Teeth’s the Strangerhood. Now, EA is making it easier and more accessible for people to tell their Sims story.
EA has announced that the Sims 3 will include video editing software that will help players turn their story into videos, and will even include things like swipes, fades, and custom soundtracks.
The Sims 3 will be released on PC on June 2. Here are some screens of the video editing software:
