Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Trailer and Photos
Well, here’s another Shin Megami Tensei game. This one’s called Devil Survivor. It’s for the Nintendo DS and is planned to be released on June 23. I know, you guys are probably wondering, “What’s up with this guy and all these Shin Megami games?” I have to say, I’m in love with the series. They are great RPG’s that keep an old-school feel but bring in new ideas. Sure, the stories are a little crazy at times, but they keep you intrigued. Once again, for this title, you may want to throw a pre-order down on it. I think it may be a little hard to find.
As for the game itself, you play as a high school student in Tokyo. An outbreak of demons and monsters have taken over the city, so the city has been quarantined. You and two of your friends are trapped in the city. You’ll have to get help from some of the demons in order for you to survive. The game play plays out like a strategy RPG, then in battle, plays out like a traditional turn-based RPG. Sounds very interesting.
