Fallout 3 to exceed 1250 Gamerscore with DLC
In the recent episode of the OXM podcast , Todd Howard, the executive producer of Fallout 3, proclaimed that the DLC for Fallout 3 will "break" the 1250 Gamerscore limit.
Operation: Anchorage, the DLC that was released this week, added an extra 100 Gamerscore to the game. The upcoming DLC, the Pitt and Broken Steel, will add another 250 Gamerscore to the game. Howard also hinted at achievements coming out after the last DLC, Broken Steel, but wouldn’t say what they were.
While this seems a paramount event, it isn’t the first game to add Gamerscore that exceeded the 1250 cap. Halo 3 has achievements coming out soon that push the Gamerscore amount to a total of 1750.

If you are any kind of a shooter fan and have a PS3 then you should have SOCOM: Confrontation. In a world dominated by the First Person Shooter I have to say this Third Person Shooter is the Most Realistic Shooter on the market today!
They say they want to go “trophy hunting” in SOCOM but if anyone has seen the trophy list for SOCOM I don’t see that happening any time soon! So head over to TQCast Gaming Night for 1/28/09 post and let them know that you’ll be joining in on their Gaming Night. Then add the great guys of TQCast:

EA SPORTS 3-On-3 NHL Arcade Video & NHL All-Star Game Recap
Do you remember the days of NBA Jam? Tournament Edition? Anyone? man I’m getting old!
Well the NBA Jam Franchise was one of the most fun gaming franchises of the mid to late 90’s. From you mom and pop arcade to the console versions its fast paced 3-on-3 action made many gamers fierce rivals and long time friends. Now EA, in its first venture in the downloadable arcade genre, looks to reignite those rivalries with 3-On-3 NHL Arcade; set to be release on XBLA 2/4 and PSN 2/5 for 800 MSP or $9.99, respectively.
3-On-3 NHL Arcade is brought to us by the same group that made NHL 09! and while I’m not a huge Hockey buff I have heard great things about NHL 09! Below are some screen shots that EA had recently released:
If that didn’t “wet your whistle” enough then here is a gameplay video to make you mouth water!
Well until next week that is all we have for visual gratification. Head over to EA SPORTS World – NHL All-Star Game Recap for a recap of all the action that went down during all-star weekend!

If you don’t think Killzone 2 is going to be worth a pre-order then you can still get the demo on us. But take my word for it: this is a game you are going to want to buy Day 1! From the early previews to impressions I have gotten, from very trust worthy sources, this is the title PS3 owners have been waiting for!
To cement this over on MTV Multiplayer they asked SCEA why the demo is restricted to those that already pre-ordering the game. Scott Steinberg offered a response: “Offering a playable demo to motivate preorders speaks to our confidence in the appeal of a game such as Killzone 2. We take this approach when we are convinced that the experience will cement a consumer’s interest in purchasing.”
Haven’t seen or heard confidence like that seen last summer and Too Human. I am hoping this turns out better for Sony and the PS3’s sake!
